It is still important to be aware and acknowledged some important information about the possible dangers that you may face during a Pu Luong motorbike tour.

  • If you just arrive in Vietnam and not yet aware of the way of riding, you must know that the biggest vehicles always get the priority. If you see a truck coming for example, don’t expect it to give you priority.
  • If the traffic density is low, the biggest population you may cross on the roads are the animals. Always slow down passing close to houses or seeing animals on the side of the road. They could surprise you crossing the road spontaneously.
  • In rainy days, the road can be slippery and for non-experienced riders, it can be a reason for accidents. Even if Pu Luong is not at the same altitude as in the far north of Vietnam (Pu Luong peak is only 1700m high), there is in some areas a steep drop road. Especially on the way to Kho Muong village and the roads around Son Ba Muoi.
