Itinerary

HANOI – PU LUONG (L - D)

06:50: Hotel pick-up and depart for Pu Luong Nature Reserve by comfortable limousine bus.

11:45: Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the hotel/restaurant. Check-in to your room if available (standard check-in time 14:00).

13:30: Transfer to the Meeting Point and begin a 10km trek. Explore Kho Muong, an isolated village, and the largest cave in Pu Luong via off-road trails through streams and mountains. Continue to the scenic Bang village with stunning rice terraced fields. Return to the hotel for relaxation. Enjoy the sunset and unwind by the swimming pool.

19:00: Dinner and end of the first day.

PU LUONG – NINH BINH (B - L)

08:30: After breakfast, transfer to the Meeting Point and embark on a 2km trek through suspension bridges and scenic villages along the largest stream. Discover water wheels along the way and enjoy bamboo rafting. Continue with a 1.6km trek through rice fields and villages.

Transfer back and check out from the hotel by 11:30. Have lunch at a restaurant.

13:00: Private car transfer to Ninh Binh. It takes approximately 3 hours to reach Tam Coc, the tourist center of Ninh Binh. Take a boat trip to Tam Coc and immerse yourself in the beautiful views of rice paddies, caves, and rural landscapes for 1.5 hours.

Next, check in to your hotel and explore the lively walking street in Tam Coc. Dinner and additional activities are at your own. End of the second day.

NINH BINH - HALONG BAY (B - L)

08:30: After breakfast, visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel. Learn about the history of Vietnam at Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple dating back to the 17th Century. Explore Mua Cave to get the bird's eyes view of Ninh Binh and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

13:00: Bid farewell to your tour guide and transfer to Halong Bay.

Next, check in to your hotel and explore Bai Chay, the most busy tourist center of Ha Long city. Dinner and additional activities are at your own. End of the third day.

HALONG BAY - HANOI (B - L)

09:00: After breakfast, head to the port to join a day tour of Halong Bay.

09:30 – 10:00: Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port, board the boat, and meet the crew.

Cruise past iconic sights like Stone Dog Rock and Finger Islet for photo opportunities. Indulge in a delicious onboard lunch featuring Vietnamese specialties and fresh seafood.

13:00: Explore the magnificent Surprise Cave, a must-see attraction known for its vast and awe-inspiring space discovered in 1901.

Visit Luon Cave and choose between kayaking, bamboo boat rides, or relaxing on the cruise. Enjoy swimming at the beautiful white-sand beaches of Titov Island and take in the panoramic view from its summit.

16:00: Return to the cruise and join the Sunset Party on the sundeck or relax in the jacuzzi. Disembark at the port at 17:00. Limousine transfer back to Hanoi.

19:30: Drop you off at your own hotel. End of the 4-day, 3-night Epic Loop Tour.

Pu Luong Excursion is a truly amazing travel service provider in the district. I contacted them just one evening before the desired date of day tour of pu luong region. Despite the super short notice, they managed to arrange two motorbike drivers to show us around on the next day. The quoted price is also very reasonable. Next day, the two super friendly local driver showed up on time (one lady and one gentleman) at the hotel. Though they dont speak english, but its total fine with the help of google translate. We enjoyed 4-5 various points of interest and the the scenic views around the area through the safe and exciting motorbike tour. It was indeed delightful to feel the rice field and summer breeze on the pace of rides. The lady driver was very attentive in giving me assistance when walking in cave snd waterfull. And the gentleman was a cheeful young man. Overall, we got memorable experience in this tailored day tour. We appreciate much for the efficient and professional service by Pu Luong Excursion!
