01:30 PM: Rather than walking along the main road, a short transfer takes you straight to where the real adventure begins.
Your walk begins through forest paths leading to Kho Muong, one of Pu Luong's most isolated villages and home to the largest cave in the nature reserve.
Learn how the 64 local families live deep in the mountains, how they access water, electricity, and stay connected with the outside world.
After that, visit Bat Cave. What stands out is the massive ceiling, over 50 meters high, with countless stalactites hanging down. Pu Luong is known as one of the largest nature reserves in Vietnam, filled with limestone mountains and Bat Cave is a remarkable example, with evidence of ancient human life dating back thousands of years.
Depending on your pace and energy, the trek ends at a homestay.
Time to rest, shower, and have dinner, with a chance to interact more closely with the local family. This is not a typical tourist homestay. So simple, authentic, and still very friendly.
