09:00: Ride along QL15C to reach the Ma River, the region’s largest river. The road is smooth and perfect for riding, but always watch your speed and stay alert for buffaloes, children crossing, and village traffic. It is a great time to soak in the peaceful rhythm of mountain life along the river.
The first highlight is crossing the river on a floating bamboo bridge, a handmade structure still used today to connect two riverbanks. Simple, yet impressive.
Pass through less-known villages resting in quiet valleys, where rice fields stretch along the hillsides and houses appear and disappear behind green jungle. A great opportunity to stop and take in the landscape.
11:00: Head toward Dan Waterfall, following small country lanes. Observe local life along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing swim and take photos of the water plunging straight down from the rocks, a dramatic and photogenic natural setting.
12:30: Enjoy a local lunch at a countryside eatery, where you can taste the authentic flavors of the region. Simple, yet clean and satisfying.
13:30: Continue exploring rural life in Dien Trung and Dien Ha communes. Stop by Duong Coc Lake for a short break and sightseeing.
14:30: Ride to Chieng Lau Hamlet, following the gentle flow of Cham Stream. Look out for traditional water wheels, a clever invention of the Taidam people that carries stream water into rice fields and daily-use containers. Your guide will explain how they work - simple, sustainable, and smart.
15:30: Conquer one of the iconic trails of Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Ride past Pho Doan market, Uoi, Lan villages, and especially Don Village known as the epicenter of the reserve. Your guide will point out hidden photo spots along the way.
16:30: Return to the starting point and finish the journey by 17:00.
