Long Bien Bridge is the first steel bridge across the Red River connecting the two Hoan Kiem districts with the Long Bien district of Hanoi, built by the French (1898-1902). The bridge is 18m long, 5m wide, divided into 7 main compartments. The roof is completely covered with lapis lazuli tiles.
