Mai Chau Family homestay is located at Long Village, Van Mai Commune, Mai Chau. Homestay is designed according to the traditional stilt houses of the White Thai people, situated in the middle of a peaceful rural scene with clear waterfalls, stretching rice fields, and majestic high mountains.

Tourists are provided with a room type, 1 single bed in a dormitory room at Mai Chau Family homestay. Each room has amenities such as a washing machine, free toiletries, an electric kettle, a hair dryer, an outdoor dining area, a refrigerator and outdoor furniture. Besides, we offer a Family room with 1 futon, 1 double, 1 single bed if you have a request.

The room rate is from 430,000 VND/night/person and may change on the weekend, holiday or New Year. Homestay accepts payment by cash or in card including: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. You can make a deposit of 15% of the room rate in advance, once the reservation has been accepted by the host. Homestay does not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

Pom Coong Village

Pom Coong village is the residence of the Thai people, this is also a famous village near Mai Chau Family homestay. Pom Coong village is located not far from Lac village. In Thai, Pom means hill, Coong means drum, Pom Coong means village of hills lying on a big drum. Not as famous as Lac village, but Pom Coong is still very peaceful and attracts tourists.

Chieu Cave

One of the beautiful places of Mai Chau that you must visit is Chieu Cave. From Mai Chau town, you have to conquer 1200 stone steps to reach the cave. If you want to visit a Thai house, you need to get the host’s permission.
If you do not have experience riding the mountain pass in the evening, you should not run after 7:00 pm.
Remember to update the weather situation to prepare appropriate clothes for the trip.
